Who We Are

We are a group of friendly people living in The Wooburns who care about our environment.

What We Do

We exist to bring residents together through organised and informal events. To keep an eye on planning applications (and object when necessary), work alongside the Parish Council, District and County Council to ensure  we keep the Wooburns as nice a place as possible and be a community we all want to be part of and enjoy.

Wooburn & Bourne End Parish Council Parks Survey – a member of WRA is on the Working Party

Have you seen people in the parks and play areas counting rubbish bins and looking at the equipment?  Perhaps carrying a clipboard and approaching strangers to ask their views?  Do not be alarmed – this is simply members of the working party set up following the Parish Council’s decision to look at the parks and play areas in the Parish.   You may be approached and asked for your opinion of the park  – please tell them what you think, it all helps.   There is also an online questionnaire which you are welcome to complete and this can be accessed here.   If you prefer paper, please pop into the Parish Clerk’s office and pick up a copy.   Completed questionnaires can be returned here too.    If you would like to know more about this project please contact the clerk at the Parish Council: clerk@wooburnparish.gov.uk.  The survey is available until 31st January 2018.
